Retired Fire Chief Frank Haylow from the Stone Mills Fire Department is looking for Holders for 2 Vintage Fire Grenades, as shown in the photo. He remembers these holders as being plastic with a flat back with 2 screw holes for mounting. There were 2 arms which did not make a full circle and were one above the other so the grenade would slide into the holder from the top. Contact: haylow101@gmail.com

The Champlain, New York Fire Department, is attempting to locate their old 1974 Hahn Fire Truck that was once the pride and joy of the department. They believe it is located somewhere in Ontario.

“GO TO BLAZES“ is a 1956 vintage Fire Prevention 29 minute video directed by Thomas Farley through the National Film Board with cooperation from the York Township Fire Department. This short documentary from the Perspective television series examines the dangerous practices that can cause tragic and costly fires. The film follows Inspector Joe Fletcher as he investigates fires that have happened, or could happen. It shows how frequently fires are actually crimes of carelessness, which, if prevented, could have saved life and property.
