Third
Alarm is the OFBA's newsletter, published six times a year. Each
issue includes club news & events, news from the fire world, fire
department rosters, apparatus photos, historical information and
more. We added colour
photos to our cover in 2005.
Our
editor is Walt
McCall, noted fire apparatus historian and author of a
number of books, including the classic American Fire Engines since 1900.
We have also published brief histories of two Canadian Fire Apparatus
builders - "The Bickle Story" and "The Canadian Lafrance Story."
